A lot of you have asked me for the details of the apartment that we stayed in. Unfortunately we've lost the piece of paper which had the telephone number on it. As for the hotel we nearly stayed at, I can't remember the name of that either, Sorry. The best thing I can suggest is to contact the Tourist Information office in Monetier. They had a big list of private rental appts and found our appt for us quite easily (once they got back from lunch). I can't even remember the womans name, it was quite similar to Madame Cholet (of the Wombles) so we've always called her that, thus forgetting her actual name :-) The Serre Chevalier website will have the number of the tourist information place on it. There is a large list of private apartments on the website, but this is probably not a complete list, so it might be worth phoning them.
