MY TOP "MUST VISIT" RESORTS
These are the places I most want to visit before I take the big chairlift to the sky.
1. Alaska. Pretty much top of everyones list I suppose. Points North Heli always looked like a damn fine establishment to me.
2. Mt Baker. Any place that gets that much snow has got to be worth a visit.
3. La Grave. I was in La Grave for SwallowMania last year and it looks incredible. The reason its still on the list is that I was only there for 1 day and it was early in the season.
4. Verbier.
5. Chamonix.
6. Japan. Apparently they have snow monkeys in Japan, I've got to see that. And the Japanese don't ride off piste.
7. Island Lake Lodge, Fernie. Legendary snowcat operation.
8. Mike Wiegele Heliski, Blue River, BC.
9. Sainte-Foy, France. I'll probably spend a day or 2 in St-Foy this year while I'm in Tignes.
10. Whistler.
11. Alagna.
12. Red Mountain.
13. Jackson Hole.
14. I'd be gutted if I never went back to Serre Chevalier or Fernie again, but that doesn't really count I suppose.
